Sponsor Priority Registration — Opens December 1
Sponsors receive priority access to Spring 2027 player registration before public registration opens.
Complete the BCLL Sponsorship Google Form. If a player is connected to your sponsorship, BCLL will place that player’s registration into your Sports Connect cart. You must log in, complete the registration, and check out to secure the player’s spot.
Submitting the sponsorship form alone does NOT register your player or guarantee a spot.
Sponsorship Payment Deadline: December 6
Public Registration — December 7–14
Several divisions filled within just 2–3 days during Fall 2026, so we encourage families to register early! Registration is first-come, first-served, and divisions may reach capacity before the December 14 deadline.
Please complete payment promptly. Registrations with unpaid balances will be cancelled if payment has not been received or arrangements have not been discussed with the league by evaluations.
Waitlists will be available as needed, but placement is not guaranteed.
What division should I register for?
Use the 2027 Little League Baseball Age Chart to determine your player’s league age and register only for the appropriate division available in Sports Connect. League age is based on the player’s age on August 31, 2027.
View the 2027 Little League Baseball Age Chart
What are the age ranges for each division?
Division eligibility is based on your player’s Little League age, which may differ from their current age.
| Division | League Ages | Requirements / Placement |
|---|---|---|
| Tee Ball | 4–6 | Introduction to baseball fundamentals. |
| Coach Pitch | 5–7 | Players ages 5–6 must have completed one Spring season of Tee Ball. |
| Machine Pitch | 6–9 | Placement based on evaluations. |
| Minors Kid Pitch | 8–11 | Placement based on evaluations. Eleven-year-olds may register for this division. |
| Majors | 10–12 | Placement based on evaluations. Players ages 11–12 must register for Majors and may only move to Intermediate based on Player Agent recommendation, Executive Board approval, and space availability. |
| Intermediate / 50–70 | 11–13 | Players ages 11–12 must register for Majors and may only be moved to Intermediate following evaluations, based on Player Agent recommendation, Executive Board approval, and space availability. |
| Juniors | 13–14 | Placement based on evaluations. Includes 14-year-olds not drafted into Seniors. |
| Seniors | 14–16 | Fourteen-year-olds must attend evaluations and be drafted into Seniors. |
Division changes: All division changes require a Player Agent recommendation after evaluations and Executive Board approval. Placement is not guaranteed. Overlapping age ranges do not guarantee placement in a particular division.
What happens if my division is full?
If your player’s division is full, please join the waitlist for the correct division. DO NOT register for another division expecting your player to be transferred. Being on a waitlist does not guarantee placement. BCLL needs time to review the number of waitlisted players and determine whether there are enough players to form an additional team.
Additional players will only be activated from the waitlist when the league can reasonably form another team. This depends on:
- Having enough players to create a complete team
- Available coaches and volunteers
- Field space and availability
If there are not enough players to form an additional team, or adequate field space/coaching is not available, players will not be activated from the waitlist.
Please be patient while waitlists are reviewed. We want to accommodate as many players as possible, but we also have to make sure every team has enough players, coaching, and field time to have a successful season.
Waitlist activation: If you have been activated from the waitlist, you have 24 hours to pay your registration fee. After that time, you will be cancelled so another waitlisted player can take that available spot.
Waitlists will be in place until after evaluations and team formations (late January) in case spots become available.
How do I sign up to coach?
Log in to your Sports Connect account through the BCLL website and register as a volunteer for your preferred division and coaching position. Please complete the volunteer registration even if you have coached with BCLL before.
Registering expresses your interest but does not guarantee a coaching position. All coaches must be approved by the league and complete the required fingerprinting, background checks and training before participating in practices or games. BCLL covers the cost of required fingerprinting.
Can I request a coach or teammate?
T-Ball and Coach Pitch are the ONLY divisions where coach or teammate requests may be submitted. Requests MUST be entered during registration in Sports Connect using the request option provided. Requests are not guaranteed.
Machine Pitch and higher divisions may not request specific coaches or teammates. These divisions use evaluations and a draft/team-selection process.
Will divisions fill before December 14?
Yes. Registration is first-come, first-served, and divisions may fill before the December 14 deadline. Several Fall 2026 divisions filled within approximately 2–3 days, so families should register early.
What jersey information do I need?
- Jersey size
- Name to appear on the back of the jersey
- 1st choice jersey number
- 2nd choice jersey number
- 3rd choice jersey number
Please double-check all jersey information before submitting. Registration responses will be used as the FINAL information for jersey ordering. Jersey number preferences are requests and are not guaranteed. Notify the league promptly if you find an error before jerseys are ordered. Families will be contacted individually only if clarification is needed.
Is a medical release form required?
Yes. A completed Little League Medical Release Form is required for your player to participate. Please print and sign the form and turn it in to a Board Member at evaluations or to your head coach at the first practice.
Are evaluations required?
Evaluations are mandatory for Machine Pitch, Minors Kid Pitch, Majors, Intermediate, Juniors, and Seniors and are expected in early January. Exact dates, times, and instructions will be announced after registration closes. If your player cannot attend, you MUST notify BCLL as soon as possible so the league can address the situation before evaluations.
If a player misses mandatory evaluations without notifying the league in advance, their registration will be canceled and their spot may be offered to a player on the waitlist.
When are teams assigned?
Registering for a division does not guarantee final placement in that division or on a specific team. Final placement may consider eligibility, evaluations, player safety, roster needs, and roster availability. Team formation takes place after registration and evaluations. Machine Pitch and higher divisions use a draft/team-selection process, while younger divisions are formed after player placement is finalized.
Families should not expect to hear from a coach immediately after registering. Team assignments and coach communication will occur after evaluations and team selections are completed in late January.
What days do divisions typically play?
These are anticipated game days and start times only and are subject to change based on field availability, team counts, weather, interleague scheduling and other league needs. Specific days and times cannot be guaranteed at registration.
| Division | Typical Game Days | Typical Start Times |
|---|---|---|
| T-Ball | Monday / Thursday | 5:30 PM |
| Coach Pitch | Monday / Thursday | 5:30 or 6:30 PM |
| Machine Pitch | Tuesday / Friday | 5:30 or 6:30 PM |
| Minors Kid Pitch (KP) | Tuesday / Friday | 7:00 PM |
| Majors | Monday / Thursday | 7:00 PM |
| Intermediate | Monday / Thursday | 7:00 PM |
| Juniors | Tuesday / Friday | 7:00 PM |
| Seniors | Monday / Thursday | 7:00 PM |
When does the season run?
The Spring 2027 season runs approximately January through May. Practices are expected to begin in late January, with Opening Day on February 27.
Spring All-Stars can run into summer if your player is eligible.
What is the refund & cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be received before evaluations begin to be eligible for a refund. Once evaluations begin, registration fees are non-refundable, except in the case of an approved, documented medical emergency.
Payment must be completed before evaluations. If your registration remains unpaid after evaluations and you have not contacted the league to discuss payment arrangements, your registration will be cancelled.
Please notify the league promptly if your player will no longer participate. Late cancellations affect drafts, roster sizes, team formation and opportunities for other players.
How does the $100 volunteer fee work?
A $100 volunteer fee is collected during registration. Families are eligible for a refund after completing two concession stand shifts or fulfilling the required hours or duties of another BCLL-approved, league-driven volunteer role.
Once your volunteer service has been completed and verified by the league, the refund will be processed through Sports Connect and returned to your original form of payment. The time it takes for the refund to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.
The league will provide instructions for documenting completed volunteer service and requesting your refund.
Do coaches & board members need to be fingerprinted?
Yes. Anyone volunteering as a coach or Board Member must complete the required fingerprinting/background screening before serving in that role. This screening is required under Florida requirements applicable to youth-serving organizations. BCLL will cover the required fingerprinting fees for its volunteers.
Additional instructions regarding fingerprinting, approved locations, deadlines, and verification will be provided to volunteers before the season.
Can I purchase a family banner?
Yes. Family Banners will be available for purchase directly through Sports Connect during Spring registration.
Family Banners may ONLY be purchased during registration this season. Make sure to add one while completing registration. Once registration closes, additional Family Banner orders will not be accepted.
Where will I get updates?
Follow Buffalo Creek Little League on Facebook for registration updates, evaluation information, schedules, clinics, weather announcements, and other league information. Pertinent information will also be emailed after registration.
Please regularly check the email address used during registration, including your spam/junk folder, and make sure your contact information is correct.
Download the GameChanger app and be ready to join your player’s team once team information is released. Whenever possible, use the same email address for Sports Connect and GameChanger to help prevent missed team invitations.
